Help available for entrepreneurs, small business owners

Entrepreneurs and small business owners will have an opportunity to connect with a valuable free resource without leaving Jefferson.

Stefanie Koenig, regional director for the North Central Iowa Small Business Development Center in Fort Dodge, will be at the ISU Extension and Outreach office in Jefferson Tuesday, March 29. She will hold hour-long meetings at 12 pm ant 5:30 pm describing the services available through the SBDC.

The Open 4 Business competition through Main Street Iowa will be available, and Ken Paxton of Greene County Development Corporation will also share resources available through him.

Anyone interested in starting or expanding businesses in Jefferson are invited to attend. Services working with small businesses are also encouraged to attend and share resources with their clients.
